About Belmont Football Club
Belmont FC has been providing boys and girls from the community of Donnybrook and its surrounds the opportunity to have fun through junior soccer for more than twenty years. Our players come from a variety of schools in the local area and we are always welcoming of newcomers, whatever their ability.

Our ethos is a child-centred one. While competition has an important contribution to make to the overall development of young people, it has to be balanced with fun, enjoyment and satisfaction along the way. At Belmont FC we strive to provide a safe, positive and encouraging atmosphere that allows our players to participate to their potential, irrespective of their abilities. We place emphasis on building lasting friendships, respect for others, and always playing in the right spirit. We subscribe to the view that fair play is a way of thinking, not just behaving.
During the 2017 season, commencing on 18th February 2017 through to November 2017, Belmont FC will field teams in the under 8s to the under 18s sections of the South Dublin Football League (SDFL). Teams up to and including the u13s level play on Saturday mornings, while those playing at u14s and above play on Sunday mornings. The club will continue to host an Under 7s development squad in Herbert Park on Saturday mornings. In addition, “Belmont Kickers” is our FREE football academy for children aged 4-5 years and takes place every Saturday morning during school term.
