We do not actively respond to membership requests. If potential openings arise, the relevant coaches will be informed and may contact you directly if appropriate. Our database is reviewed regularly and data is deleted in accordance with good data retention practices.

All parents and players must agree to the Club’s rules and Code of Conduct, which includes our Data Privacy Policy. Personal information is collected solely for membership purposes. Please note that players do not become members until approved by both the relevant Coach and the Club Secretary.

DDSL Membership

The DDSL have introduced a new system to register players with the DDSL and FAI.

•All players must be registered on the DDSL portal.

•This is for boys and girls playing DDSL league games U8 to U18.

•Please note: It does NOT apply to our U7boys and girls academy players.

•Players will not be able to play if they are not registered

•All parents must upload a picture, ID (passport/Birth cert) and pay a league fee of €30.

It is necessary to do this before a player is eligible to play league games. Belmont FC have access to all their players only who have registered via the portal and will allocate them to their team.

The registration will only be complete when the club has allocated the player to a team.

The €30 covers FAI/LFA/SFAI fees, player insurance, and contribution to DDSL charity Childline.

It also includes contributions to the running costs of the DDSL league, where there has been significant investment in full-time admin staff and IT.

There is some saving to Belmont FC, which will be passed on to members with a reduction in subs. If you are a member of Belmont FC and are playing in a Belmont FC team this season you need to register.

If you are a new player to Belmont FC, you must confirm with your team manager before registering.

Note: it will be a number of months of adopting these new processes before DDSL clubs fully understand the commercial implications on their finances.
