Founded in the early 1990s, Belmont FC began as a small community club with a handful of passionate soccer enthusiasts. Over the years, it has grown exponentially, attracting players of all ages and skill levels.

The club's mission has always been to promote sports and provide a platform for local talent to shine. Belmont FC is a soccer club rooted in Donnybrook, Dublin 4.

Our home matches take place on the grass pitches of Herbert Park, where we proudly don the colours yellow and blue. We compete in the Dublin District Schoolboy League (DDSL), affiliated with the FAI.

Operated entirely by volunteers, our club operates on a non-profit basis, with all financial resources reinvested into training facilities, coaching and essential aspects such as jerseys and equipment.

Community Engagement

Belmont FC is more than just a football club; it’s a community hub. The club regularly hosts events, including family days, community BBQs, and charity matches. These events unite the community, fostering a sense of belonging and pride.

The club also runs outreach programs to promote soccer among underprivileged children in the area. These initiatives ensure that everyone, regardless of their background, has the opportunity to participate in the beautiful game.

Youth Development

One of Belmont FC’s greatest strengths is its commitment to youth and character development. The club offers comprehensive training for young players at all levels, starting as early as age four. These programs focus not only on developing soccer skills but also on teaching the values of teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship.
The club’s emphasis on nurturing young talent has made it a cornerstone of the community, helping to foster a new generation of sporting enthusiasts.

Looking Ahead

The future looks bright for Belmont FC. With plans to expand its youth academy and enhance its community outreach programs, the club is poised to continue its legacy of excellence and community engagement. As football evolves, so too does Belmont FC, adapting to new trends and embracing innovative training techniques to stay ahead of the curve.
